Description: This database was designed to provide coverage of developments in Russia on the regional and local levels. It currently contains 73 titles from 54 Russian regions of the Russian Federation, as well as newspapers covering local issues of Moscow and St. Petersburg. Researchers can use this database to quickly access a variety of local news, as well as trace local reactions to national and international events. The database covers regions such as the investment-oriented Volga region, Chechnya, northern Ossetia, oil and gas-rich Western Siberia, and many others.
