One Comprehensive List of Electronic Journals is the Goal

The Journals in Electronic Format service now provides nearly comprehensive title access to over 44,000 electronic journal titles that UNC-Chapel Hill subscribes to or supports.

Search for E-journals by Title

This function enables you to search on a key word or phrase that occurs anywhere in a journal title ("contains" search option), that occurs at the beginning of that title ("starts with" search option), or to find an exact match ("is" search option).

Additionally, search results are returned in a paged fashion to speed loading time of the larger record sets.

Subject Listing of Selected E-journals

This function provides access to only 15% of the e-journals in the system. Additional journals are being assigned subjects on a daily basis.

Alphabetical Listing of E-journals

Searches for all titles that begin with the selected letter (e.g. all the journal titles beginning with "J").

You will find that Search for E-journals by Title option enables you to be more specific in your searches, retrieve more targeted results, and search faster.

Other full-text resources may be available through E-Research Tools. Print journal and selected e-journal holdings are available in the UNC-Chapel Hill online catalog.
